Yes. Every build is mobile-first. Most local businesses get over 60% of their traffic from a phone, so the phone version is what we design before the desktop one.
No. The build price includes writing. We'll interview you, draft everything and adjust it until it sounds like you. If you already have words you're happy with, we'll use those.
That's a Premium-tier build. Pro handles a simple online catalogue. Real ecommerce (cart, checkout, stock, deliveries, payments) needs Premium because it's a different animal.
Unlimited at the design stage: we keep adjusting the design until you sign it off. Once you've signed off and we've started building, changes are quoted separately.

Your domain and your content are yours from day one, registered in your name. We own and run the build while you're on the plan, which is what lets us charge nothing upfront. Serve your initial term and the site becomes yours to keep, at no extra cost. Want it sooner? Pay off the rest of your term at any time, or pick a pay-once package instead.
Plans run for an initial term we agree up front, then roll monthly. Serve the term and the site is yours to keep, so the longest you're ever committed is the term you chose. After that, leave any time with the site, your domain and your content. Leaving mid-term? Pay off the rest of the term and take it all with you.
Often, yes. If you've got the evenings to build it yourself, a website builder costs somewhere between nothing and about £29 a month, and plenty of decent small sites run on one. What you pay us for is the part a builder leaves to you: the words, the photos, the Google set-up and keeping it all working. One thing to know first: a Wix site can only run on Wix's own servers, so if you outgrow it, you rebuild.
Keep both. Your Google Business Profile is the free listing that shows up when people search locally, so claim it first if you haven't. A website holds what a profile can't: your prices, the detail of each job and answers to questions like these. It's also the one place online you control, and a page Google and AI search tools can read and quote.
Fair question, and one we hear. On a monthly plan there's nothing up front: you pay a month at a time, and your domain is registered in your name from day one. On a pay-once build it's 50% before we start and 50% before it goes live, and if we can't do the work for reasons on our side, the deposit comes back. And if we ever end a monthly plan or stop trading, our terms say the website becomes yours at no extra cost and we hand over the files. They're public, so read them before you sign anything.
Over 4 years it usually works out similar once you add up what pay-once really costs: the build, the hosting and upkeep, and the rebuild you'll want by year 3. The difference is the shape: the same amount each month, with the rebuild already included.
We keep adjusting the design until you sign it off. Nothing gets built before then. We'll show you options and change them until you're happy. Changes after the build are quoted separately, because a change on screen costs nothing and a change after the build means redoing work.
