For plumbers & heating · Midlands

When the boiler dies, be the number that answers.

Urgency traffic punishes anything slow or clever. The phone number, the response promise and proof of tidy work, served instantly.

Emergencies · answered
01 · the real issue

The emergency picks whoever answers.

Nobody browses plumbers with a cup of tea. They search in a panic, ring the first number that looks real, and the job goes to whoever picks up.

The 7am panic
Cold shower, school run in an hour. They're not comparing five websites, they're calling whoever answers first.
The trust gap
You're a stranger in their house at short notice. The Gas Safe number, the reviews and the tidy-job photos do the reassuring before you arrive.
The quote that never comes
Three plumbers rung, none call back. The bar is on the floor. Answering, and saying when you'll come, wins work on its own.

That's why this page is lean, and so is the site I'd build you. Nothing sits between the visitor and the phone number.

02 · the site

What good looks like for a plumber.

This is Hartwell Plumbing & Heating, a trades concept I built to show the standard. Hover it and it walks through itself.

  • 01Click-to-call everywhere

Every screen, every scroll depth, one tap from your number. With a text-back promise for the calls you can't take from under a sink.

  • 02An emergency page that says what happens next

Who's coming, roughly when, what it costs to get you out. Certainty is what a burst pipe is shopping for.

  • 03Service plans people can join online

Boiler cover and annual services signed up on the page, not arranged over three phone calls.

  • 04Your Gas Safe number where it's seen

Registration up top, next to the reviews. A stranger in the house at short notice gets checked first.

Hartwell is a concept, not a real firm. Yours gets built on your patch, your services, your reviews.

03 · the other half

The jobs that ring while you're working.

A site gets the emergency call. These three run underneath it, and every one is a small build.

1

Emergency calls, ringing out

Today

The phone goes while you're elbow-deep in a repair. It rings out, they call the next number on the list, and the job's gone before you've dried your hands.

What I'd build

Click-to-call everywhere on the site, backed by a text-back promise: a missed call gets an automatic "got you, back to you within the hour" message, so the caller waits instead of moving on.

Boiler services in a paper diary

Today

Annual services live in a diary on the van dashboard. Reminders go out when there's a quiet evening, which is never, so the quiet months stay quiet.

What I'd build

Service-plan signups on the site and reminders that send themselves, so October fills up in July and the diary stops being the system.

Landlord gas certs, chased one by one

Today

Every landlord's CP12 has its own expiry, tracked in your head or a notebook and chased by text, one at a time. Miss one and that landlord finds a plumber who won't.

What I'd build

A renewal tracker that nudges the landlord and you before each CP12 expires, books the visit and keeps the certificate on file. Repeat work that renews itself.

Ask about this

If you want the numbers for your own setup, I'll build you a proper ROI on the jobs worth doing. If you've lived these three, that's the point.

04 · what it costs

Priced like a van payment.

Most trades take the subscription: nothing upfront, one monthly amount, and the website stops being a winter job that never happens.

Quick Start
from £79/mo
Nothing upfront · priced to your build

One page, done properly. Enough to look real, be reachable, and come up when someone searches your name. Hosting, changes and care are in it, same as every other tier.

from £149/mo
Nothing upfront · priced to your build

The plumber's site done properly. Click-to-call, the emergency page, reviews and Gas Safe up front, hosting, changes and care, bundled.

Start with Starter
Rather pay once? Builds start at £595 with care plans from £49 a month. The full ladder is on the pricing page, and I'll always tell you if the smaller option fits.

When it floods, they call the first number that answers. Be it.

Fifteen minutes on the phone and I'll tell you what I'd build, what it costs, and whether it's worth doing at all. If your current site just needs the number making bigger, I'll say so.
