For cafés & coffee shops

Websites and automation for cafés

We build café websites around three things customers want to know: are you open, what's on, can I order. Plus small tools that handle the admin behind those answers.

the site

What a good café website includes

This is Beck & Beans, a village café concept we built to show the standard. Hover it and it browses itself.

  • Hours on the homepage and the footer. The first thing people check, and the fastest way to lose them when it's wrong.
  • The menu as a real page. PDFs are miserable on a phone, and Google can't read a word of your dishes.
  • Order ahead on your own site. Click and collect that keeps the app's cut in your till.
  • Reviews with names and words. Star counts wash past; a named regular saying the flat white's worth the detour doesn't.

Beck & Beans is a concept, not a real business. Yours gets built on your coffee, your room, your prices.

An example automation plan for cafés

Five jobs a review usually finds for a business like yours, in the order we'd do them. Each is a small build. Yours will differ, which is what the review is for.

Hours and menu, typed five times

Job 1 · today

New summer hours? You change the door, the site, Google, Instagram and the chalkboard. Miss one, and someone drives over to find you shut. Wrong info online quietly costs custom.

What we'd build

One place to edit. The site renders hours and menu from a single source, and Google gets pushed the same answer, so nothing drifts out of date.

Ask about hours and menu updates

The PDF menu

Job 2 · today

It's a download, it's sideways on a phone, and search engines can't read a word of it. People searching for lunch nearby won't find your focaccia.

What we'd build

A real menu page, generated from the same source as job one, with dietary flags built in and a print stylesheet for the counter copy.

Ask about a menu page

Order-ahead, minus the commission

Job 3 · today

The apps charge for demand you already own. Uber Eats' published UK rate is 30% on app delivery orders, 13% on pick-up.* For regulars ordering the same flat white every morning, that's rent.

What we'd build

Commission-free ordering wired into your own site through an engine like Storekit or Slerp, plus a proper catering enquiry form: date, headcount, deposit link.

Ask about commission-free ordering

The paper stamp card

Job 4 · today

Nine stamps, free coffee, and zero idea who your regulars are. When someone drifts away you never find out, so you can't win them back.

What we'd build

A digital stamp card that lives in their phone wallet, no app to download, with a friendly nudge to leave a Google review a few stamps in.

Ask about a digital stamp card

Natasha's Law labels

Job 5 · today

Anything packed before order needs a full ingredients label with allergens flagged. Often that lives in someone's head, or a folder nobody quite trusts.

What we'd build

A small recipe app that prints compliant labels and feeds the menu's allergen info from the same data. Change the pesto, both update.

Ask about allergen labels

* Uber Eats UK pricing page, checked July 2026. Deliveroo doesn't publish a standard UK rate, so we don't quote one.

not sure where to start

If none of these is obviously first, the automation review is £395: 90 minutes with Chris and a written plan of the jobs worth automating, in order. Go ahead with a build within 60 days and the £395 comes off it.

Thirty minutes on the phone with Chris: he'll tell you what we'd build, what it costs, and whether it's worth doing at all. If your current site just needs its hours fixing, he'll say so.
