Dentistry is one of the few trades where the customer hopes not to need you. The website's job is to make the visit feel ordinary before anyone picks up the phone.

Some patients will book a slot at midnight. The rest want to say what's wrong and hear back quickly. Give them both.
Whitening and straightening get bought on proof. Real cases, shown with consent, do the persuading a paragraph can't.

Every new patient fills in their medical history on a clipboard in the waiting room, minutes before they're seen. Someone then deciphers the handwriting and types it into the practice system.
What I'd build
A digital pre-visit health form sent with the booking confirmation, filled in calmly at home and landing in your practice management before the patient arrives. The clipboard retires.

A plan gets discussed in the chair, printed or emailed, and then nothing. Nobody has time to chase it, so the patient drifts and the work never happens.
What I'd build
A plan follow-up that nudges gently after the appointment, answers the questions people were too polite to ask in the chair, and flags who's gone quiet so the desk chases the right ones.

Automated recall reminders wired to the diary: text and email in your practice's voice, with a booking link, stepping up politely until the appointment's made.
