What happens at a first visit.
Forty minutes with the dentist, a written plan with each item priced, and nothing treated on the day unless you’re in pain.

Appointments long enough for the numbing to work. A hand signal means stop, and we stop.
A call the day after
Anything bigger than a filling gets a phone call the next day and a check at two weeks. Then six-monthly check-ups for most people.
