Book a table for the morning.
Four window tables, five inside and three in the garden can be booked between 8 and half one. Pick a free slot on the board, add a name and a mobile, and we text to confirm. Everything else is walk-in.

Each column is the hour from that time, and the table is yours for the rest of the morning. Change the day, how many and where you’d like to sit, and the board updates.
Open every day from eight.
Nine on a Sunday. The kitchen stops at half two, and coffee and whatever is left on the counter keep going until we shut.

Dogs, prams, laptops and the garden.
Dogs
Welcome in both rooms and the garden. Bowls are by the door and there’s a jar of biscuits on the counter. Leads on in the garden, because of the ducks.
Prams and small people
The back room has space to park a pram and a box of books. High chairs on request. Babyccinos are free and we don’t mind noise.
Laptops
Fine on weekdays, in the back room, for as long as you like. At weekends we ask you to leave the window tables to people eating. The wifi password is on the board.
The garden
Six tables down to the water. Blankets in the box by the door for the cold months. It closes when the brook is high, which is a few days a year.
Groups
Up to six at one table without booking. Seven or more, ring us the day before so we can push the big table together and warn the kitchen.
Paying
Card, phone or cash. We don’t add a service charge. The tip jar goes to whoever is on that day, split evenly.
