Getting here

Park, then walk the last bit.

Ferrers Row is a footpath more than a road. Leave the car on the High Street side and allow six minutes.

From Loughborough

Take the Leicester road south out of town. Quorn is the first village. Come off at the roundabout, follow the signs for the village centre, and you’re on the High Street within a minute. Ten minutes door to door, more on a school morning.

From the A6

Leave the A6 at the Quorn junction and follow the road into the village. The car park is signed on the left before the church. Ferrers Row is the narrow turning just past the bus stop; please don’t drive up it, there’s nowhere to turn.

Parking

The village car park behind the High Street is free for two hours, which is plenty for breakfast. Blue badge bays are by the entrance. There’s no parking on Ferrers Row itself, and the neighbours will tell you so.

Buses

The Loughborough to Leicester buses stop on the High Street, two minutes from the door. Ask for the Quorn High Street stop, walk back towards the church and turn up the lane by the bus shelter.

Step-free access

The lane, the bridge and both rooms are step-free; the bridge has a gentle hump. There’s an accessible loo off the back room and room to turn a chair. The garden is grass and gravel, so it’s rougher going for wheels.

On foot or by bike

The brook path brings you to the garden gate from the Loughborough side, about twenty minutes from the station. Bike rack by the front door, and a pump behind the counter if you ask.

Booking

Book a window table.

The four window tables look straight down the lane to the bridge. They can be booked for the morning; everything else is walk-in.
